20 Years and Counting

Today was my 20th birthday, wow! That's all I can say. I am no longer a teen and childhood is over. The second year of college is almost through and I'm half way done. Sometimes life goes by so quickly, yet the days seem to drag on. Lately I've been working on being aware that I am alive and not to take anything full granted. Tonight I had a great time talking with a beautiful friend. I shared with her that I pray God makes the desires of His heart my heart's desire as well, and that I would be a better servant leader. Today I was aware of everything being my birthday and all. God blessed me so much with friends who are so wonderful and a beautiful warm day with blue skies, sunshine, clouds and rain! I love rain and it's fresh smell. It's like life realizes itself and pours out in the rain. As I get older I find that I know less than I thought I did, yet I keep learning. I find that no matter what the circumstances God is! and ever will be :) here right now with me bringing me through this life that is miniscule in comparison to eternity. I pray that I will learn to follow Him completely in obedience for His glory and to increase the guest list for the Heavenly feast!
