Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve! Today has been good. I spent the majority of it watching Christmas movies and baking cookies with mom. Then later on we are going to the Christmas Eve service at Church. It's a different kind of Christmas this year. Since my sister and her husband will not be able to come and celebrate with us until the 27th, we are postponing our Christmas traditions. It is somewhat strange that for the first time since I can remember, we are not doing Christmas tonight. It is different but not bad. I am still enjoying Christmas even without these things. However, I am looking forward to them later in the week. I'm looking at it as an opportunity to focus on the celebration of Christ and less on Santa Clause. I like Santa don't get me wrong, but it seems to me that there is a need to focus more on Christ and less on Santa.
