Like That Tree

Tonight I came across this verse and it encouraged me so I wanted to share it here with all of you.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

But blessed is the one who trusts in Me alone;

        the Eternal will be his confidence.

    He is like a tree planted by water,

        sending out its roots beside the stream.

    It does not fear the heat or even drought.

        Its leaves stay green and its fruit is dependable, no matter what it faces.

My prayer is to be like that tree. No matter what I face may I not fear any circumstance because I trust in God. 

Lord, 

Mold my heart that I may be more like you.
