Drought

Still no rain. The forecast has predicted rain several times now and yet none has come. (FAITH)
Tonight I came across an interesting proverb...

Proverbs 13:12 says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick. but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life."

What does that mean?
Asbury Bible Commentary on v. 12 & 19 says, "The satisfaction of hope or its frustration affects one's mental and physical well-being. A fool, however, refuses to give up a desire, which in the end means disaster."

Matthew Henry's commentary states, "The delay of what is anxiously hoped for, is very painful to the mind; obtaining it is very pleasant. But spiritual blessings are chiefly intended."
