We're Not Ment to do this Alone

Today has been long and exhausting. I've been adjusting to my new work schedule after a long summer of doing nothing and it is kicking my butt. Today was a wonderful day, I got to spend time with my sister who lives far away and also my mother and grandmother. We got pedicures and did some shopping and a trip to coldstone was involved :)
This evening, I was reading my devotional which talked about how God cares for us. He knows that we get tired and weak. Jesus went days without sleep at times and yet was still ministering to the people. I don't know how he ever got through it! I would have caved after the first all nighter, if that. But I'm so thankful that he did that for us. Jonah 3:10 says, "When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened" Something I've been learning about God's love is that it reaches to the deepest darkest corners of our heart and pulls us up through the putrid disgusting crud and brings us out into His glorious light which cleanses all of the crud, and makes us new. That is how great God's love is. Jonah Ch 4 goes on to discuss how Jonah was concerned about a vine yet he pondered if God would take care of "the great city" God says, are you kidding! you were worried about a vine dying and you think I'm not going to look after people who don't know their right hand from their left? Not to mention their cattle. Really Jonah? Of coarse I'll take care of their city and their animals as well. Don't worry, I'm going to take care of everything.

Don't worry (Insert Name) I love you and will take care of you. Love God <3 <3 <3
