Tonight I learned a new definition of safety. Safety is doing what God calls us to do because it is safer to do the unsafe thing that he is asking of us rather than not. 2 Cor. 11:23 begins to speak about all of Paul's hardships and dangers which, I don't think everything in my whole life added together will amount to. God's safety and protection can at times mean something other than the literal. I think this new type of safety is God protecting me from myself - i am my own worst enemy.
2 Cor. 11:30 stuck out to me the most. There it says, "If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness."
That God's glory and holiness be made known.
